Latest multi-touch table PC: Ideum MT-50


Technology moves fast, and undoubtedly competition between different companies producing similar products only enables this. Ideum has brought out their new multitouch table PC, MT-50. Abit like Microsoft’s Surface PC, you can think of the MT-50 multi-touch table as the bigger perspective of its kind

Ideum came up with this technology in August 2009, though it is hard to say that having a PC built into a table with a screen was their idea in the first place. With the Ideum MT-50 multi touch table, they have successfully applied their multi touch technology into their multi touch table. This multi touch table measures 50 inches and incorporates has ultra clear tempered glass surface. If you are unaware of its capabilities, the Ideum MT-50 looks more like a conventional table. Dimensions of this multi touch table are 31″ H x 33″ W x 53″ L.

MT-50 features an optional LED under lighting which is fitted under the table in order to offer a better view. This multi touch table by Ideum offers robust graphics support as it is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 graphics card. Since it is a wide table and supports number of users, Ideum MT-50 features 60 simultaneous control points to help multiple users.

This multi touch table uses a DLP projector with 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness. It is powered by an Intel
