Slimmest TV on planet, had to be Sony

The long awaited Sony’s XWL-1 TV (slimmest TV on the planet) is scheduled for a showcase in the Japanese market this December. The new TV is just 3mm thin and an 11 inch QHD screen which boasts of contrast ratio of 1000K: 1 with vivid colors.

The TV comes with a HDMI input port and QHD resolution display and can also support High Definition Video using its latest Organic EL display technology.

It is certainly a cool thing to possess but remains aloof from every man’s reach and that’s coz the price is a bit on the higher side. The cost of the TV is around 1220€ ($1734).
